Talking is a situation where two (or more) people convey messages or information verbally or in words and have an understanding of the same language concept so that all parties can understand the information conveyed.
2. Video Call
Video call is actually the same as the concept of talking where there are two individuals (or more) who convey messages verbally to each other. It's just that video call is often used when the communicator is not in the same place so that it is assisted by camera technology on the gadget that can display the face of each communicator when speaking.
3. Phone
The concept of the phone is like video call where people can communicate even though they are not in the same location. It's just that the phone has a lower level of intimacy because it only displays voice and does not display the physicality of each communicator so that gestures and facial expressions when communicating cannot be read by the other person.
4. Letter
Letters are communication media where each communicator writes information on paper and sends it to the intended person to receive the information. The letter media has begun to be abandoned by the community because it is very limited from flexibility, time and material due to increasingly advanced technological sophistication, especially in terms of communication.
5. IM (Instant Messaging)
IM is an Instant messaging which has the same concept as letter but is technology-based so that it has very high accessibility and flexibility so that it is very easy for communicators to send messages with higher volume and frequency so that communication intimacy is established more closely.
7. Email
Email is also a digital two-way communication medium and requires an internet connection. However, email is often used as a medium for sending formal and structured information such as invitations or official notifications, so it is not a suitable medium for intimate conversation or communication.
8. Social Media MSG
Short Messeges on Social Media is the same as IM where two communicators can communicate on a social media platform and require an internet connection.
9. Social Media Status
Social Media status is usually used as a medium to express the current situation of a sender such as short stories or photos. The uploaded status can be seen and responded to by people who are friends with us on Social Media so that the communication that occurs is general (not personal) and not only two-way.
10. Tweet
Status on this platform is usually called tweet. Tweets usually emphasize more on short sentences or information conveyed by the sender, which is slightly different from the characteristics of social media status which are often more specific in conveying information.
