4. loooking at the images, what is your preferred socio-civic organization/foundation in the Philippines that you would want to give donations to and why?
Answer:
I personally believe that all foundations deserve to be funded by the government, or receive donations from NGO's and from people with good heart.
I have been to countless institutions that houses street children, abused girls, people with disabilities (both physically and mentally) and even home for the aged.
Everytime I remember those days thay I was with them, I still get to tell myself that I am still lucky if I'd compare my situation or my fate to theirs. They were one of the few that were deprived of having a normal and happy life.
If I would have to give a donation, I would give it to the home for the aged. These old folks are now at the final hours of their lives, they were once healthy birds that roam the earth, now they could hardly spread their wings and they just sit down or lie down all day. Most of them have families, but they could only be visited once in a blue moon. After playing their part in the society, they are now left in these places and have been forgotten.
These old folks deserve to be happy, they deserve love and care, and it would be their greatest joy if they be visited once in a while by the people whom they raised, and whom they loved.
